Privacy Policy

Unfused (“we,” “us”) is a relationship self-discovery app. We are not a therapy service, medical provider, or counseling platform. Nothing in the app constitutes medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.

• Account info — email address and password when you sign up.
• Quiz answers & scores — your responses to the relationship quiz, differentiation score, and identified red flags.
• AI session data — messages exchanged during sessions, session summaries, key insights, and assigned practices. Raw messages are deleted after the session ends; summaries are retained.
• Progress data — practice completion status, red flag progress, and score changes over time.
• Device tokens — push notification tokens if you enable notifications.
• Analytics events — anonymized usage events (screens viewed, features used) via PostHog.

• To personalize your AI sessions — your quiz results, session history, and red flag progress are used as context for the AI.
• To track your progress and show your growth over time.
• To send you push notifications (only if you opt in).
• To improve the product based on anonymized usage patterns.

We use the following services to operate Unfused:

• Supabase (EU region) — authentication, database, and edge functions.
• OpenAI— powers the AI sessions. Your messages are sent to OpenAI's API for processing. Per OpenAI's API terms, API data is not used to train their models. OpenAI may retain API content for up to 30 days for abuse and misuse monitoring, after which it is deleted, unless required by law to retain it longer.
• RevenueCat — subscription management. Handles purchase verification and entitlement checks.
• PostHog (EU instance) — product analytics. Events are anonymized and do not contain message content.
• Expo — push notification delivery.

Raw AI session messages are ephemeral — they are deleted when a session ends. Session summaries, insights, and practices are retained as long as your account exists.

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app. This permanently removes all your data from our systems, including quiz results, session summaries, practices, and progress data.

Unfused offers auto-renewable subscriptions at $9.99/month or $69.99/year, both with a 3-day free trial. Payment is processed through Apple's App Store. You can cancel anytime through your device's subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Unfused is not intended for anyone under 17. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
